New Years Resolution

I am putting forth my ideas and plans for my new year, I pray I can do this to the glory of God and for it to be able to help you out for ideas as well.

1. I pray I can live out the fruit of the Spirit while at the same time putting to death the passions of my carnal flesh.

Galatians 5
Walking in the Spirit
16 I say then: Walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh. 17 For the flesh lusts against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; and these are contrary to one another, so that you do not do the things that you wish. 18 But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law.
19 Now the works of the flesh are evident, which are: adultery,[c] fornication, uncleanness, lewdness, 20 idolatry, sorcery, hatred, contentions, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, selfish ambitions, dissensions, heresies, 21 envy, murders,[d] drunkenness, revelries, and the like; of which I tell you beforehand, just as I also told you in time past, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.
22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law. 24 And those who are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. 25 If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit. 26 Let us not become conceited, provoking one another, envying one another.

2. I pray God allows me to enter into deep fellowship with my true family in Jesus Christ

Ephesians 2:19-22
Christ Our Cornerstone
19 Now, therefore, you are no longer strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God, 20 having been built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ Himself being the chief cornerstone, 21 in whom the whole building, being fitted together, grows into a holy temple in the Lord, 22 in whom you also are being built together for a dwelling place of God in the Spirit.

Galatians 6:2
2 Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ.

Galatians 6:10
10 Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all, especially to those who are of the household of faith.

Philippians 2:1-2
1 Therefore if there is any consolation in Christ, if any comfort of love, if any fellowship of the Spirit, if any affection and mercy, 2 fulfill my joy by being like-minded, having the same love, being of one accord, of one mind.

Hebrews 10:24-25
24 And let us consider one another in order to stir up love and good works, 25 not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching.

3. I pray that I can love God above all and in all I do that I may glorify Him so that it is not me receiving any glory at all but that Jesus Christ is glorified in all I do.

1 John 4:16
16 And we have known and believed the love that God has for us. God is love, and he who abides in love abides in God, and God in him.

1 John 4:19
19 We love Him[a] because He first loved us.

Ephesians 3:17-19
17 that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love, 18 may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and depth and height— 19 to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.

(Romans 8:38-39
38 For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, 39 nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Thank you all for blessing me with your friendships, fellowship and love, you are truly blessings!!! Happy New Year and glorify Jesus!!!!!!

Bible verses on salvation

First of all we do not deserve to be saved and the Bible is very clear on this point. Read these passages of Scripture to find out what I mean.

a. Exodus 20:1-17

b.Romans 3:23

c. Galatians 5:19-21

d. 1 John 3:4

e. Ezekiel 18:20

f. 1 Corinthians 6:9-10

These verses show us that we are dead in sins, and we cannot save ourselves by good works because we have indeed sinned or made a transgression against the law. If we continue in these sins we will not make it into the Kingdom of God.

How then can we be saved? Here are passages in Scripture that show us how to be saved.

. John 3:16

. John 14:6

. John 5:24

. John 6:37

. John 6:40

. John 6:47

. John 20:31

. Acts 16:30-31

. Ephesians 2: 4-9

. Romans 10:13

We are saved by God's grace alone, through faith in Jesus Christ alone!! Once we have called upon the name of Jesus Christ we have been given the Holy Spirit to guide us in life, to walk in His fruit found in Galatians 5:22-24. Chief among them is love which is the first and greatest commandment of Jesus Christ unto us.

Soli Deo Gloria!!!!!!!!

The love of Jesus Christ

So what does it mean for us to have the love of Jesus Christ with us?

1. First of all in John 1 it says Jesus Christ is our creator.
This shows that He made us, and everything in the world, so His love in one way is shown because He made us for Him and He is the light of the world but we are in darkness and we did not comprehend His love toward us.

2. Secondly if creating us is not enough, He came to the earth in human form and in Luke 2 it says He was born in Bethlehem.
He came and just as John 1 and Luke 2 say He is light and He lived in the darkness and the darkness did not comprehend Him.

3. Thirdly Jesus showed the people His love and power by performing miracles in the midst of the people.

a. Jesus healed a paralytic man Matthew 9:1-8, Mark 2:1-12, Luke 5:18-26.

b. Jesus healed a man with leprosy Matthew 8:1-3, Mark 1:40-42.

c. Jesus fed 5000 men and their families Matthew 14:16-21, Mark 6:35-44, Luke 9:12-17, John 6:5-14

d. Jesus healed a man born with blindness John 9:1-41

4. Fourthly He died upon a cross for us because we have sinned, we have not kept the 10 Commandments in Exodus 20 and we are not holy and because we are not holy we cannot see God. And because we sinned we must die for the soul that sinneth dies. Jesus is our propitiation or sacrifice for our sins which proves that God the Father accepted His sacrifice since He is holy and He never sinned. His sacrifice allows us to live with Him forever in heaven if we put our trust in Him, and repent of our sins so He can forgive us.

a. Jesus was a righteous man who did nothing wrong. Matthew 27:19, 23.
b. Jesus suffered pain and humiliation. Matthew 27:26, 28-30, 39-44, 49.
c. Jesus died on the cross. Matthew 27:35, 50.
d. Jesus was crucified not for doing anything wrong, but for who he claimed to be. Matthew 27:11.

This is what Jesus had happen to Him on the cross
a. Jesus was flogged with a whip. Matthew 27:26.
b. the Romans put a crown of thorns on Jesus' head. Matthew 27:29.
c. the Roman soldiers spit on Jesus. Matthew 27:30.
d. the Roman soldiers hit Jesus on the head with a staff. Matthew 27:30.
e. the Romans nailed Jesus to the cross with nails about this long. John 20:25.
f.The people insulted and made fun of Jesus. Matthew 27:29, 39-44, 49.

Jesus Christ rose from the dead on the third day and is King of the world the only name under Heaven by which we can be saved John 14:6, John 3:16.

Clearly Jesus Christ loves us, and He wants us to live forever with us. So if you have not put your faith and trust in Jesus Christ and if you have not repented from your sins which means you apologize to God for offending Him because of your sins and you begin to forsake or turn from the past sins you have committed and the lifestyle you previously lived and begin to walk in holiness which God calls us to then you should seriously consider it, and search the Bible to see if it is true. 146,000 people die every day, you could die today, pray for Jesus to cleanse you and make you a new creation in Him so you will be born again and enter the Kingdom of God.

Romans 10:
8But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach;

9That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.

10For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

11For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.

12For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him.

13For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

14How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher?

15And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things!

16But they have not all obeyed the gospel. For Esaias saith, Lord, who hath believed our report?

17So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

God bless y'all and spread this note around if you want to.

My Testimony

I became a Christian at about age 5,I am a basketball fan, Lakers, UCLA Bruins, all levels of basketball are enjoyable to watch, I enjoy playing it. I also enjoy watching football and baseball. I was baptized at age 16, I am 18 currently and I enjoy reading the Bible and discussing the name of Jesus Christ with friends and enemies of Christ who need to hear the power of God unto salvation fulfilled in the life, atonement of Jesus Christ on the cross, resurrection 3 days later and is King forever and ever amen!! God has guided my life completely, despite myself, my failures, anger, hurt, jealousy, lying and sin. I am a wretch, whom by the grace of God through faith in Jesus Christ has been saved, and it is not of myself so I cannot boast, and if I do boast it will be only in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ. He has blessed me with an ability to encourage people, which annoys some people, but God continues to guide my steps and He has allowed me to use facebook to encourage others, and minister to people. I have been accepted to Masters College in LA California which Pastor John Macarthur is the President of the College and Seminary. I pray God continues to grow all who are in Him, in love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self- control. If God allows us to cross paths on facebook or in real life, I pray God will allow us to minister to each other. God bless you all and keep representing Jesus Christ. Romans 1:16, John 14:6, John 3:16, Matthew 28:18-20, Galatians, Ephesians, Philippians and all of the 66 love letter book that God wrote to us!!! I have been crucified with Christ and it is no longer I who live but Christ lives in me.

God bless y'all,

THUS speaketh Christ our Lord to us, "You call me Master, and obey me not; You call me light, and see me not; You call me the Way, and walk me not; You call me life, and live me not; You call me wise, and follow me not; You call me fair, and love me not; You call me rich and ask me not; You call me eternal, and seek me not; If I condemn you; blame me not. When does human life begin?

The Bible has a lot to say about the beginning of life!!!!! Let us examine Scripture to find out when human life begins.

Job 31
13 “If I have despised the claim of my male or female slaves

When they filed a complaint against me,

14 What then could I do when God arises?

And when He calls me to account, what will I answer Him?

15 “Did not He who made me in the womb make him,

And the same one fashion us in the womb?

Psalm 22
9 Yet You are He who brought me forth from the womb;

You made me trust when upon my mother’s breasts.

10 Upon You I was cast from 1birth;

You have been my God from my mother’s womb.

Psalm 139
13 For You formed my 1inward parts;

You wove me in my mother’s womb.

14 I will give thanks to You, for 1I am fearfully and wonderfully made;

Wonderful are Your works,

And my soul knows it very well.

15 My 1aframe was not hidden from You,

When I was made in secret,

And skillfully wrought in the depths of the earth;

16 Your eyes have seen my unformed substance;

And in Your book were all written

The days that were ordained for me,

When as yet there was not one of them.

Isaiah 44
2 Thus says the Lord who made you

And formed you from the womb, who will help you,

Do not fear, O Jacob My servant;

And you Jeshurun whom I have chosen.

24 Thus says the Lord, your Redeemer, and the one who formed you from the womb,

“I, the Lord, am the maker of all things,

Stretching out the heavens by Myself

And spreading out the earth 1all alone,

Jeremiah 1:5
"Before I formed you in the womb I knew you."

Ecclesiastes 11:5
"As you know not what is the way of the wind, or how the spirit comes to the bones in the womb of a pregnant woman, even so you know not the work of God, Who does all."

Jeremiah 20:17
"Because he did not slay me in the womb, so that my mother might have been my grave, and her womb always great."

Hosea 12:3
"He took his brother by the heel in [their mother's] womb, and in the strength [of his manhood] he contended and had power with God."

Luke 1:44
"For behold, the instant the sound of your salutation reached my ears, the baby in my womb leaped for joy.

There are serious consequences if we murder people of all ages including babies Scripture is very clear.

Genesis 9:5
“Murder is forbidden.”

Proverbs 24: 11-12
“Rescue those who are unjustly sentenced to death; don’t stand back and let them die. Don’t try to avoid responsibility by saying you didn’t know about it. For God knows all hearts and he sees you. He keeps watch over your souls, and he knows you know. And he will judge all people according to what they have done.”

God owns and made our bodies!!!!

1 Corinthians 6:12-13
“You may say ‘I am allowed to do anything.’ But I reply, ‘Not everything is good for you.’ And even though ‘I am allowed to do anything,” I must not become a slave to anything…But our bodies were not made for sexual immorality. They were made for the Lord, and the Lord cares about our bodies.”

1 Corinthians 3:16-17
“Don’t you realize that all of you together are the Temple of God and that the Spirit of God lives in You. God will bring ruin to anyone who ruins this temple. For God’s temple is holy, and you Christians are that temple.”

God is faithful to forgive us of all of our sins including murder!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
!!

1 John 1-9
“If we confess our sins to him, he is faithful and just to forgive us and to cleanse us from every wrong.”

Isaiah 1:18
“No matter how deep the stain of your sins, I can remove it. I can make you as clean as freshly fallen snow. Even if you are stained as red as crimson, I can make you as white as sand.”

So abortion is murder, we are all made in God's image, we can all be forgiven for our sins through Jesus Christ our atoning sacrifice.

God bless you all!

Famous Quotes on Evangelism

Dr Martyn Lloyd-Jones
There is no true evangelism without the doctrine of sin, and without an understanding of what sin is. I do not want to be unfair, but I say that a gospel which merely says “Come to Jesus,” and offers Him as a Friend, and offers a marvelous new life, without convicting of sin, is not New Testament evangelism. The essence of evangelism is to start by preaching the law; and it is because the law has not been preached that we have so much superficial evangelism…evangelism must start with the holiness of God, the sinfulness of man and the eternal consequences of evil and wrong-doing. It is only the man who has been brought to see his guilt in this way who flies to Christ for deliverance and redemption.
False teaching does not emphasize repentance in any real sense. It has a very wide gate leading to salvation and very broad way leading to heaven. You need not feel much of your sinfulness; you need not be aware of the blackness of your own heart. You just “decide for Christ” and you rush in with the crowd, and your name is put down, and is one of the large number of “decisions” reported by the press. It is entirely unlike the evangelism of the Puritans and of John Wesley, George Whitefield and others, which led men to be terrified of the judgment of God, and to have an agony of soul sometimes for days and weeks and months.

[Charles H. Spurgeon]
If sinners are to be damned, let them leap over our bodies to do so.

Martin Luther
It is the duty of every Christian to be Christ to his neighbor

Curry R. Blake
If your Gospel isn't touching others, it hasn't touched you!

Charles Spurgeon
Someone asked Will the heathen who have never heard the Gospel be saved? It is more a question with me whether we -- who have the Gospel and fail to give it to those who have not -- can be saved.

Leonard Ravenhill
We Christians are debtors to all men at all times in all places, but we are so smug to the lostness of men. We've been "living in Laodicea ", lax, loose, lustful, and lazy. Why is there this criminal indifference to the lostness of men? Our condemnation is that we know how to live better than we are living.

John Wesley
Give me one hundred preachers who fear nothing but sin, and desire nothing but God, and I care not a straw whether they be clergymen or laymen; such alone will shake the gates of hell and set up the kingdom of heaven on earth.

A. A. Allen
If you are walking with Jesus, in the Spirit, you need not fear going too far. No believer has gone as far as God wants him to go

William Booth
'Not called!' did you say? 'Not heard the call,' I think you should say. Put your ear down to the Bible, and hear Him bid you go and pull sinners out of the fire of sin. Put your ear down to the burdened, agonized heart of humanity, and listen to its pitiful wail for help. Go stand by the gates of hell, and hear the damned entreat you to go to their father's house and bid their brothers and sisters and servants and masters not to come there. Then look Christ in the face -- whose mercy you have professed to obey -- and tell Him whether you will join heart and soul and body and circumstances in the march to publish His mercy to the world.

Oswald Chambers
If we are devoted to the cause of humanity, we shall soon be crushed and broken-hearted, for we shall often meet with more ingratitude from men than we would from a dog; but if our motive is love to God, no ingratitude can hinder us from serving our fellow men.

John Piper
Missions is not the ultimate goal of the church. Worship is. Missions exists because worship doesn't

John Piper
God is pursuing with omnipotent passion a worldwide purpose of gathering joyful worshippers for Himself from every tribe and tongue and people and nation. He has an inexhaustible enthusiasm for the supremacy of His name among the nations. Therefore, let us bring our affections into line with His, and, for the sake of His name, let us renounce the quest for worldly comforts and join His global purpose.

God works through anyone!!!!!!!!!

There are many examples of God working through people and even a donkey. His Word will not come back void, so every time the Word of God is preached, spoken for people to hear, written for people to see, discussed for people to retain, taught for people to obey, acted upon for people to understand how to live, anyway the Word of God is communicated, He has a purpose for, His plan is amazing and the Law of the Lord is perfect converting the soul. Not all Christians are pastors, or writers, or teachers, but we are all granted gifts from the Holy Spirit!!We must use these gifts to further the Kingdom of God in the world!! We all bring something unique to the table, some are teachers, some are preachers, some are scholars, some are writers, some are musicians, some are poets, some are business men and women, some are caretakers, some are tax collectors, some are tent makers, some are scholars, some are parents, some are children, some are blind, some are deaf, some are mute, some are living in the farthest reaches of the world, and some are living in expensive houses, some are scientists, some are military people, whatever you are or do for a living, God has a purpose for your life, a direction for you to go. Your family has been chosen specifically by God, your hair, your eyes, your nose, the color of your skin, the hands and feet you have serve Jesus in ways you never thought possible. He sent His only Son, Jesus Christ the God/man to be a propitiation or sacrifice for our sins, and His death cleans us and makes us to be seen as righteous before our holy and awesome God!!!! Now sometimes you feel like you are not worth anything to people, maybe you feel like you cannot contribute anything to a certain group of people, maybe you let the struggles of the world pollute your mind which in turn clouds your view of God!!! I am living proof that God can take a mess of a person and be allowed to glorify Christ, and I know you are to. All have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God! But guess what, while we were yet sinners, Jesus Christ died for us, now, to say we are not worth anything or incapable of serving Christ is not the right thing to do, Jesus Christ died for us in our sins, He knows us, He knows we mess up, He lets those who are willing serve Him and bring glory to His name!! The pharisees were the most religious people in the time of Christ, they did not believe in Christ being God however so they said He was blasphemous comparing Himself or calling Himself God. What is even more amazing is that the disciples of Jesus Christ were ordinary people, a tax collector, some fishermen, a doctor, even a guy who used to take pleasure in the death of followers of Christ. So if you complain about the situation your are in which I do as well, we are not glorifying God, He tells us not to worry, but trust in Him and His joy is our strength so do not worry. Remember, we all have a purpose for the Lord to grow in us, and He will complete it to His glory. Also Jesus said the first shall be last and the last shall be first, so those who think they are all that and a bag of potato chips on the earth will be humbled by God, and those who have a humble and contrite heart and spirit filled with worship, praise and honor for God as well as humility will be lifted up with Christ!!!

I love you with the love that only Jesus Christ could give me to love with,

Children of God vs antichrists

1 John 2

1My dear children, I write this to you so that you will not sin. But if anybody does sin, we have one who speaks to the Father in our defense—Jesus Christ, the Righteous One. 2He is the atoning sacrifice for our sins, and not only for ours but also for[a] the sins of the whole world.

3We know that we have come to know him if we obey his commands. 4The man who says, "I know him," but does not do what he commands is a liar, and the truth is not in him. 5But if anyone obeys his word, God's love[b] is truly made complete in him. This is how we know we are in him: 6Whoever claims to live in him must walk as Jesus did.

7Dear friends, I am not writing you a new command but an old one, which you have had since the beginning. This old command is the message you have heard. 8Yet I am writing you a new command; its truth is seen in him and you, because the darkness is passing and the true light is already shining.

9Anyone who claims to be in the light but hates his brother is still in the darkness. 10Whoever loves his brother lives in the light, and there is nothing in him[c] to make him stumble. 11But whoever hates his brother is in the darkness and walks around in the darkness; he does not know where he is going, because the darkness has blinded him.
12I write to you, dear children,
because your sins have been forgiven on account of his name.
13I write to you, fathers,
because you have known him who is from the beginning.
I write to you, young men,
because you have overcome the evil one.
I write to you, dear children,
because you have known the Father.
14I write to you, fathers,
because you have known him who is from the beginning.
I write to you, young men,
because you are strong,
and the word of God lives in you,
and you have overcome the evil one.
Do Not Love the World
15Do not love the world or anything in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. 16For everything in the world—the cravings of sinful man, the lust of his eyes and the boasting of what he has and does—comes not from the Father but from the world. 17The world and its desires pass away, but the man who does the will of God lives forever.
Warning Against Antichrists
18Dear children, this is the last hour; and as you have heard that the antichrist is coming, even now many antichrists have come. This is how we know it is the last hour. 19They went out from us, but they did not really belong to us. For if they had belonged to us, they would have remained with us; but their going showed that none of them belonged to us.

20But you have an anointing from the Holy One, and all of you know the truth.[d] 21I do not write to you because you do not know the truth, but because you do know it and because no lie comes from the truth. 22Who is the liar? It is the man who denies that Jesus is the Christ. Such a man is the antichrist—he denies the Father and the Son. 23No one who denies the Son has the Father; whoever acknowledges the Son has the Father also.

24See that what you have heard from the beginning remains in you. If it does, you also will remain in the Son and in the Father. 25And this is what he promised us—even eternal life.

26I am writing these things to you about those who are trying to lead you astray. 27As for you, the anointing you received from him remains in you, and you do not need anyone to teach you. But as his anointing teaches you about all things and as that anointing is real, not counterfeit—just as it has taught you, remain in him.
Children of God
28And now, dear children, continue in him, so that when he appears we may be confident and unashamed before him at his coming.

29If you know that he is righteous, you know that everyone who does what is right has been born of him.

God has power packed 1 John 2 with straight truth on why this was written, who this book affects and how you can truly know that you are a child of God. Jesus Christ the Righteous One died to atone our sins and the sins of the whole world. If we are to know God, or more importantly be known by God we must obey His commands and then the love of God will be made complete in our lives. If we do not obey the commands of God and claim to know Him, then we are liars and the truth is not dwelling in us.

John wrote to the children because their sins were forgiven on account of the name of Jesus Christ, and because they have known God the Father.

John wrote to the young men because they have overcome satan, the evil one, who is the father of all lies and a liar from the beginning, and they are strong, the Word of God lives in them, and they have overcome the evil one.

John wrote to the fathers because they have known Him who is from the beginning.

John tells us not to love the world or anything in the world because they are going to pass away and the love of the Father is not in him. Instead John writes to say that we are to do the will of God so that we may live forever.

John also writes to say that the antichrist is coming and that there have been many antichrists who have come to earth and denied the fact that Jesus is the Christ, and when they did that they denied the Father and the Son and because they denied the Son of God they do not have God the Father.

He also wrote this to confirm the true believers in Jesus Christ, who have been anointed by the Holy One, know the truth, the anointing remains in them, and this anointing teaches them and is not a counterfeit anointing so that they can remain in God.

He ends this chapter saying that believers in Jesus Christ can be both confident and unashamed before Him at His coming and that because of the righteousness of Jesus Christ, those who do what is right have been born of Jesus Christ.

Differences between God and me

I am a huge sinner, but Jesus Christ is a huge Savior, I am lost and do not have a way, He is the Way, I have no strength, no one is stronger than God, I have no hope, He is the hope- giver, I am scared and angry, God gives me joy. I am young, God is eternal, I grow old, God stays the same, I stumble, God picks me up, I make things wrong, God makes things right, I have needs, God fulfills my needs, I fail, God gives me an ability to succeed, I do not speak well, God gives me words to say, I repent, accept Jesus Christ as Savior and King of my life, and I have the Holy Spirit living in me, the Holy Spirit produces the fruit of the Spirit in me, I die, Christ gives me life.

There are many scientific facts in the Bible on this website as well as other websites, and I will do my best to put as many down as possible.

Leviticus 17:11- For the life of the flesh [is] in the blood, and I have given it to you upon the altar to make atonement for your souls; for it [is] the blood [that] makes atonement for the soul.'
We live because we have blood that flows through our body!!!!! If blood is taken out of your body your energy is weak, and you faint and that is just a few small vials of blood. If we are shot, or have a knife put to us, or a spear or a sword put into us, then we begin to bleed, if it is not stopped then we bleed to death. God knows what He says, He is true in all He says and does, and He say that life in the flesh is the blood, and Jesus Christ died on the cross, essentially bleeding to death for our sins which we committed past, present and future, and His death saved us from these sins once we repent from our sins, accept the gift freely given by Jesus Christ, crucify our sinful nature, take up our cross and endure until the end obeying Christ and His commandments.

Isaiah 40:22 - [It is] he that sitteth upon the circle of the earth, and the inhabitants thereof [are] as grasshoppers; that stretcheth out the heavens as a curtain, and spreadeth them out as a tent to dwell in:
This is amazing, the earth is round, because God said it is round, no matter how many people do not believe that it is still round, just as God says. We are like grasshoppers, created by God, no power compared to God, we are weak, He is strong, God has given us the heavens as a curtain to cover the earth. God is amazing and true, please get to know Him.

Psalms 147:4- He counts the number of the stars; He calls them all by name. This is so crazy!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Awesome is our God!!!!! He named every star!!!!!!!!! Stars are too numerous to count and yet God named each and every one of them!!!!!!!!

2Pe 3:5-6- For this they willfully forget: that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of water and in the water, by which the world that then existed perished, being flooded with water.
What has happened, people deny that the flood happened!!!!!!! God is good and always speaks truth!!!!!!!

Jer 1:5 - "Before I formed you in the womb I knew you; Before you were born I sanctified you; I ordained you a prophet to the nations."
Life begins in the womb at fertilization just as God says!!!!!!!!!

Job 31:15 - Did not He who made me in the womb make them? Did not the same One fashion us in the womb?
And again, God formed us in the womb!!!!!!

Act 17:26 - And He has made from one blood [fn] every nation of men to dwell on all the face of the earth, and has determined their preappointed times and the boundaries of their dwellings
Yep, we have all come originally from Adam and Eve, same blood line, the Bible speaks truth!!!!!!!

Genesis 11 speaks about the Tower of Babel when God made people have different languages and different races because of their want to be higher than God.

Eze 47:12- Along the bank of the river, on this side and that, will grow all [kinds of] trees used for food; their leaves will not wither, and their fruit will not fail. They will bear fruit every month, because their water flows from the sanctuary. Their fruit will be for food, and their leaves for medicine."
Wow!!!!!!!! People use leaves of plants for medicine today just as God said so!!!!!!!

Rom 1:25- who exchanged the truth of God for the lie, and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen.
Wow, people are worshiping trees, rocks, and created things of God and not the holy, awesome, mighty, loving Creator who made them!!!!!!!!!

Psa 102:25-26- Of old You laid the foundation of the earth, And the heavens [are] the work of Your hands. They will perish, but You will endure; Yes, they will all grow old like a garment; Like a cloak You will change them, And they will be changed.
Amen, God exists forever and the heavens and the earth are passing away!!!!!!!!!!!!

Scientific facts in the Bible

http://www.inplainsite.org/html/scientific_facts_in_the_bible.html
this is a website that shows scientific facts that proves the Bible to be true and here are a few of them!!!

Genesis, Chapter 1:1 says " In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth." In this verse we have time, force, action, space, and matter, which are the 5 knowable categories of science-
1. time- beginning
2. God- force
3. created- action
4. heavens- space
5. earth- matter
There are many different scientific facts that the Bible to prove the truth of what God says.

Genesis 2:1 (after creation): "Thus the heavens and the earth were finished, and all the host of them."
The First Law of Thermodynamics states that neither matter nor energy can be either created or destroyed. There is no "creation" ongoing today. It is "finished" exactly as the Bible states.

Genesis 3:15: "And I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your seed and her seed; it shall bruise your head, and you shall bruise his heel."
This talks about Mary, who was the mother of Jesus, no woman has a seed except for Mary because of her bearing Jesus as a virgin, and satan would tempt Jesus, but Jesus would destroy satan in eternal punishment in hell.

Job 26:7 says " He spreads out the northern [skies] over empty space; he suspends the earth over nothing."
He is God and science proves that the earth is suspended over nothing.

Job 28:25 To establish a weight for the wind, And apportion the waters by measure.
About 300 years ago scientists discovered that air does in fact have a weight. The world's hydrologic cycle functions properly because of the weight of the water and air.

Job 38:19 (written 3500 years ago). "Where is the way where light dwells?"
Scientists have just discovered that light (electromagnetic radiation) has a "way," involving motion traveling at 186,000 miles per second.

Job 38:22 (written 3,500 years ago). God says: "Have you entered into the treasures of the snow?"
At the advent of the microscope man discovered that each and every single snowflake is uniquely a symmetrical "treasure."

Job 38:35 (written 3,500 years ago. God Himself speaking): "Can you send lightnings, that they may go and say unto you, Here we are?"
The radio moves at the speed of light This is why you can have instantaneous wireless communication with someone on the other side of the earth. Science didn' t discover this until 1864 when "the British scientist James Clerk Maxwell suggested that electricity and light waves were two forms of the same thing" (Modern Century Illustrated Encyclopedia, Vol. 12).

Psalm 8:8: "And the fish of the sea, and whatsoever passes through the paths of the seas."
Man discovered the existence of ocean currents in the 1850's, but the Bible declared the science of oceanography 2,800 years ago. Matthew Maury (1806- 1873) is considered to be the father of oceanography. He was bedridden during a serious illness and asked his son to read a portion of the Bible to him. While listening, he noticed the expression "paths of the sea." Upon his recovery, Maury took God at His word and went looking for these paths. His book on oceanography is still considered a basic text on the subject and is still used in universities.

Psalm 19:4-6: "In them has He set a tabernacle for the sun, which is as a bridegroom coming out of his chamber, and rejoices as a strong man to run a race. His [the sun's] going forth is from the end of the heaven, and his circuit unto the ends of it: and there is nothing hid from the heat thereof."
The sun is in fact moving through space at approximately 600,000 miles per hour. It is traveling through the heavens and has a "circuit" just as the Bible says. It is estimated that its circuit is so large, it would take 200 million years to complete one orbit.

Ecclesiastes 1:6 The wind goes toward the south, And turns around to the north; The wind whirls about continually, And comes again on its circuit.
The Bible describes the circulation of the atmosphere. The Bible includes some principles of fluid dynamics.

Jonah 2:6 (written 2,800 years ago): "I went down to the bottoms of the mountains; the earth with her bars was about me for ever: yet have you brought up my life from corruption, O LORD my God."
When Jonah was in the depths of the ocean, he spoke of going down to the "bottoms of the mountains." Only in recent years has man discovered that there are mountains on the ocean floor. The greatest ocean depth has been sounded in the Challenger Deep of the Mariana's Trench, a distance of 35,798 feet below sea level. Mount Everest is 29,035 feet high.

Amos 9:6 (written 2,800 years ago): "He . . . calls for the waters of the sea, and pours them out upon the face of the earth; the Lord is His name."
The Mississippi River dumps over six million gallons of water per second into the Gulf of Mexico. Where does all that water go? That's just one of thousands of rivers. The answer lies in the hydrologic cycle, something that was not fully accepted until the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries, 2500 years after the Bible said that God takes the waters of the sea, and pours them upon the face of the earth.

Jeremiah 33:22 (written 2500 years ago): "As the host of heaven cannot be numbered, neither the sand of the sea measured."
The Bible claimed that there are billions of stars ("host of heaven" is the biblical term for the stars). When it made this statement, no one knew how vast the numbers of stars were as only about 1,100 were observable. Now we know that there are billions of stars, and that they cannot be numbered.

(The Bible asserts that the stars are innumerable (Gen 15:5, Gen 17:7, Heb 11:12). This does not necessarily mean that we are incapable of mathematically expressing their number. It means that no human has the ability to count them individually so as to achieve their sum. It is claimed that there are 100 billion stars in our galaxy alone. If stars were counted around the clock at one star per second, then it would take over 3000 years just to count these. Add to this the fact that there are as many as 100 billion galaxies. However, there were many scholars prior to Galileo who believed that the stars could be counted, and several attempts were made to do so. Many of these counts arrived at around 1000 stars. Examples of Scientific Accuracy in the Bible By David Pyles).

Isaiah 40:22 (written 2,800 years ago): "It is He that . . . stretches out the heavens as a curtain, and spreads them out as a tent to dwell in."
Scientists are beginning to understand that the universe is expanding, or stretching out. At least seven times in Scripture we are clearly told that God stretches out the heavens like a curtain.

Hebrews 1:10,11 (written 2000 years ago): ". . . And, You, Lord, in the beginning have laid the foundation of the earth; and the heavens are the works of your hands: They shall perish; but you remain; and they all shall wax old as does a garment."
The Bible tells us that the earth is wearing out. This is what the Second Law of Thermodynamics states. This wasn't discovered by science until comparatively recently.

Hebrews 11:3 (written 2000 years ago): "Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear."
The Bible claims that all creation is made of invisible material. Science then was ignorant of the subject. We now know that the entire creation is made of invisible elements called "atoms."

Bible verses on the joy of the Lord

Your words were found, and I ate them,
and your words became to me a joy
and the delight of my heart,
for I am called by your name,
O Lord, God of hosts.
—Jeremiah 15:16

So if there is any encouragement in Christ, any comfort from love, any participation in the Spirit, any affection and sympathy, complete my joy by being of the same mind, having the same love, being in full accord and of one mind.
—Philippians 2:1-2

These things I have spoken to you, that my joy may be in you, and that your joy may be full.
—John 15:11

Just so, I tell you, there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous persons who need no repentance.
—Luke 15:7

For his anger is but for a moment,
and his favor is for a lifetime.
Weeping may tarry for the night,
but joy comes with the morning.
—Psalm 30:5

You make known to me the path of life;
in your presence there is fullness of joy;
at your right hand are pleasures forevermore.
—Psalm 16:11

This is the day the LORD has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it.
-Psalm 118:24

They rejoice in your name all day long; they exult in your righteousness.
-Psalm 89:16

Shout for joy to the LORD, all the earth. Worship the Lord with gladness; come before him with joyful songs.
-Psalm 100:1-2

Ecclesiastes 2:26

To the man who pleases him, God gives wisdom, knowledge and happiness, but to the sinner he gives the task of gathering and storing up wealth to hand it over to the one who pleases God. This too is meaningless, a chasing after the wind.
-Ecclesiastes 2:26

Moreover, when God gives any man wealth and possessions, and enables him to enjoy them, to accept his lot and be happy in his work—this is a gift of God. He seldom reflects on the days of his life, because God keeps him occupied with gladness of heart.
-Ecclesiastes 5:19-20

Surely God is my salvation; I will trust and not be afraid. The LORD, the LORD, is my strength and my song; he has become my salvation." With joy you will draw water from the wells of salvation.
-Isaiah 12:2-3

In the same way, I tell you, there is rejoicing in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner who repents.
-Luke 15:10

God bless you all, remember, though the sorrow may last through the night, the joy of the Lord is new every morning,

Importance of reading the Bible

The Bible is filled with verses or passages about the importance of reading the Bible and I will put a few down in this note and I pray this will help you in your reading of Scripture.

7"Only be strong and very courageous; (B)be careful to do according to all the law which Moses My servant commanded you; do not turn from it to the right or to the left, so that you may have success wherever you go.
8"(C)This book of the law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do according to all that is written in it; (D)for then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have success.
9"Have I not commanded you? (E)Be strong and courageous! (F)Do not tremble or be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go."
Joshua 1:7-9

For the word of God is living and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart. (Hebrews 4:12)

But as for you, continue in what you have learned and have become convinced of, because you know those from whom you learned it, and how from infancy you have known the holy Scriptures, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus. All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work. (2 Timothy 2:14-17)

Above all, you must understand that no prophecy of Scripture came about by the prophet's own interpretation. For prophecy never had its origin in the will of man, but men spoke from God as they were carried along by the Holy Spirit. (2 Peter 1:20-21)

And the words of the LORD are flawless, like silver refined in a furnace of clay, purified seven times.
Psalm 12:6

Direct me in the path of your commands, for there I find delight.
Psalm 119:35

I run in the path of your commands, for you have set my heart free.
Psalm 119:32

I will walk about in freedom, for I have sought out your precepts.
I will speak of your statutes before kings and will not be put to shame,
for I delight in your commands because I love them.
Psalm 119:45-47

The law of the LORD is perfect, reviving the soul. The statutes of the LORD are trustworthy, making wise the simple. The precepts of the LORD are right, giving joy to the heart. The commands of the LORD are radiant, giving light to the eyes.
Psalm 19:7-8

For everything that was written in the past was written to teach us, so that through endurance and the encouragement of the Scriptures we might have hope.
ROM 15:4

I pray this helps you as you grow in Scripture reading and love for the Lord God Almighty,

Crucify Sinful Nature, Fruit of the Spirit

Galatians 5
Freedom in Christ
1It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery.

2Mark my words! I, Paul, tell you that if you let yourselves be circumcised, Christ will be of no value to you at all. 3Again I declare to every man who lets himself be circumcised that he is obligated to obey the whole law. 4You who are trying to be justified by law have been alienated from Christ; you have fallen away from grace. 5But by faith we eagerly await through the Spirit the righteousness for which we hope. 6For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision has any value. The only thing that counts is faith expressing itself through love.

7You were running a good race. Who cut in on you and kept you from obeying the truth? 8That kind of persuasion does not come from the one who calls you. 9"A little yeast works through the whole batch of dough." 10I am confident in the Lord that you will take no other view. The one who is throwing you into confusion will pay the penalty, whoever he may be. 11Brothers, if I am still preaching circumcision, why am I still being persecuted? In that case the offense of the cross has been abolished. 12As for those agitators, I wish they would go the whole way and emasculate themselves!

13You, my brothers, were called to be free. But do not use your freedom to indulge the sinful nature[a]; rather, serve one another in love. 14The entire law is summed up in a single command: "Love your neighbor as yourself."[b] 15If you keep on biting and devouring each other, watch out or you will be destroyed by each other.
Life by the Spirit
16So I say, live by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the sinful nature. 17For the sinful nature desires what is contrary to the Spirit, and the Spirit what is contrary to the sinful nature. They are in conflict with each other, so that you do not do what you want. 18But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under law.

19The acts of the sinful nature are obvious: sexual immorality, impurity and debauchery; 20idolatry and witchcraft; hatred, discord, jealousy, fits of rage, selfish ambition, dissensions, factions 21and envy; drunkenness, orgies, and the like. I warn you, as I did before, that those who live like this will not inherit the kingdom of God.

22But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law. 24Those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the sinful nature with its passions and desires. 25Since we live by the Spirit, let us keep in step with the Spirit. 26Let us not become conceited, provoking and envying each other

Galatians 5 is power-packed, and very true as we are committed to serving the Lord Jesus.
There are fruits of the flesh, and fruit of the Spirit, we are called as Christ-followers to obey and live by the fruit of the Spirit. I will separate them according to Scripture.

Fruit of the flesh:
19The acts of the sinful nature are obvious: sexual immorality, impurity and debauchery; 20idolatry and witchcraft; hatred, discord, jealousy, fits of rage, selfish ambition, dissensions, factions 21and envy; drunkenness, orgies, and the like. I warn you, as I did before, that those who live like this will not inherit the kingdom of God.
If we continue in our sin as a habitual thing, and are not growing in the Lord daily and do not accept the salvation offered by Jesus Christ then we will not inherit the Kingdom of God.
We are called to crucify the sinful nature, and obey the Jesus Christ and His teachings, and walk according to His will, not ours.

Fruit of the Spirit:
22But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law. 24Those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the sinful nature with its passions and desires. 25Since we live by the Spirit, let us keep in step with the Spirit. 26Let us not become conceited, provoking and envying each other
So we must live according to the guidance of the Holy Spirit who gives us His fruit. We must not be conceited, we must not provoke each other and we must not envy each other, we must love others with joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control, for it is through the love of Christ that the rest of the fruit are available for us to live and obey.

Walk according to the Holy Spirit and bear some fruit,
Mark Cannon

August 16th I will be 18 years old!!

On August 16th I will turn 18 years old, I have been blessed by my Lord, Best Friend, and Saving King Jesus Christ with life, a loving family, great friends, a roof over my head, food to eat, clothes to wear, and the Bible to read and grow daily in my relationship with God. I have taken hgh aka human growth hormone since I was less than a year old. I have taken a pill to help me live since I was a less than 2 years old. I have had my blood tested over 40 times in my life. Blood testing is when the doctors withdraw blood from your veins in your arm to test how your medicine is working in your body, and they see if they need to add or take away a certain amount of medicine so you can live a healthy and productive life. I have become 5 feet 9 and 1/2 inches tall because of the hgh and I am very thankful God has allowed me to be His desired height. I have had many ups and downs in my life, including meeting Charlie Ward who is one of the greatest athletes in the history of sports because he was the Heisman Trophy winner in college football at Florida State and he was a point guard for The New York Knicks in the NBA Finals. I have been to many different sports games including Dogers, Angels, Lakers, Giants, Athletics, Warriors, and Cal Poly Mustangs spanning from baseball and football to basketball games. I have been to Hawaii 4 or 5 times. I have been to New York, the 4 corners, Georgia, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Washington, Florida, Louisiana and a few other states as well as Canada and Mexico. I have been a Christian since age 4 or 5 and I have grown closer to the Lord ever since, I praise Him for blessing me so much. I have had disappointments in my life as well, I have put my trust in people only to realize that they did not care anything for me and wish I would stay out of their lives, which does hurt when you respect them and they do not care about you. We all go through problems in life, but I know that God has a special plan on my life, I just need to love Him with all my heart, soul, mind, and strength, trust His will for my life, love my neighbor as myself by thinking of others as more important then myself, serving them to glorify God. I need to shine the light of Jesus Christ to this lost world filled with people against God, as we all were before Christ saved us from our sins and told us to be an example to those around us, even if we are young, old, whether we have different skin tones, worship styles, and differences in attitudes and likes, because we know that God loves us and we must show this love to the world.

I am looking forward to what God has in store for my life, and for the lives of those who impact me and the lives of those who I have impacted because of Christ,

God's Questions to Job

Dear atheists, Muslims, Scientologists, etc, please answer these questions that God gave Job and test your knowledge and prove to me that the God of the Bible does not exist.

Job, Chapter 38

1: Then the LORD answered Job out of the whirlwind, and said,
2: Who is this that darkeneth counsel by words without knowledge?
3: Gird up now thy loins like a man; for I will demand of thee, and answer thou me.
4: Where wast thou when I laid the foundations of the earth? declare, if thou hast understanding.
5: Who hath laid the measures thereof, if thou knowest? or who hath stretched the line upon it?
6: Whereupon are the foundations thereof fastened? or who laid the corner stone thereof;
7: When the morning stars sang together, and all the sons of God shouted for joy?
8: Or who shut up the sea with doors, when it brake forth, as if it had issued out of the womb?
9: When I made the cloud the garment thereof, and thick darkness a swaddlingband for it,
10: And brake up for it my decreed place, and set bars and doors,
11: And said, Hitherto shalt thou come, but no further: and here shall thy proud waves be stayed?
12: Hast thou commanded the morning since thy days; and caused the dayspring to know his place;
13: That it might take hold of the ends of the earth, that the wicked might be shaken out of it?
14: It is turned as clay to the seal; and they stand as a garment.
15: And from the wicked their light is withholden, and the high arm shall be broken.
16: Hast thou entered into the springs of the sea? or hast thou walked in the search of the depth?
17: Have the gates of death been opened unto thee? or hast thou seen the doors of the shadow of death?
18: Hast thou perceived the breadth of the earth? declare if thou knowest it all.
19: Where is the way where light dwelleth? and as for darkness, where is the place thereof,
20: That thou shouldest take it to the bound thereof, and that thou shouldest know the paths to the house thereof?
21: Knowest thou it, because thou wast then born? or because the number of thy days is great?
22: Hast thou entered into the treasures of the snow? or hast thou seen the treasures of the hail,
23: Which I have reserved against the time of trouble, against the day of battle and war?
24: By what way is the light parted, which scattereth the east wind upon the earth?
25: Who hath divided a watercourse for the overflowing of waters, or a way for the lightning of thunder;
26: To cause it to rain on the earth, where no man is; on the wilderness, wherein there is no man;
27: To satisfy the desolate and waste ground; and to cause the bud of the tender herb to spring forth?
28: Hath the rain a father? or who hath begotten the drops of dew?
29: Out of whose womb came the ice? and the hoary frost of heaven, who hath gendered it?
30: The waters are hid as with a stone, and the face of the deep is frozen.
31: Canst thou bind the sweet influences of Pleiades, or loose the bands of Orion?
32: Canst thou bring forth Mazzaroth in his season? or canst thou guide Arcturus with his sons?
33: Knowest thou the ordinances of heaven? canst thou set the dominion thereof in the earth?
34: Canst thou lift up thy voice to the clouds, that abundance of waters may cover thee?
35: Canst thou send lightnings, that they may go, and say unto thee, Here we are?
36: Who hath put wisdom in the inward parts? or who hath given understanding to the heart?
37: Who can number the clouds in wisdom? or who can stay the bottles of heaven,
38: When the dust groweth into hardness, and the clods cleave fast together?
39: Wilt thou hunt the prey for the lion? or fill the appetite of the young lions,
40: When they couch in their dens, and abide in the covert to lie in wait?
41: Who provideth for the raven his food? when his young ones cry unto God, they wander for lack of meat.

God bless you brothers and sisters in Christ Jesus,

Proofs for existence of God

Many people question the existence of God the Father, Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit. Now Genesis 1 says that in the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. People can argue this all day long but I will give some practical examples of what has been created by a creator. People do not dispute the fact that a building has a builder. People do not dispute the fact that a watch has a watch-maker. People do not dispute the fact that an automobile has an auto-maker. People do not dispute the fact that clothes have a maker. Now if people do not dispute that all these things have a maker, I wonder why they dispute the fact of God who ultimately is the Creator of us all. I believe the reason that people doubt the existence of God is that they cannot see Him physically. My question for those questions is what about gravity and wind. We cannot see gravity and wind, but we know the effects of both gravity and and wind. If we throw something like a ball we know the effects of wind. If we jump off a ledge we know the effect of gravity. We cannot doubt these facts so I ask again how can people doubt God, because we as Christians know that God is, was, and will always be, He is timeless, He will answer our prayers, so true we may not be able to see Him physically, but we do know that He exists because the Bible which is the inerrant Word of God, which does not contradict itself, and as 2 Timothy 3:16 says: All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness.
So from this Scripture, we learn that we can learn about the existence of God, who God is, how He lived, and how we can live for Him. Now if that is not enough the Scriptures also teach in the book of Philippians 2: 9-11
9Therefore God exalted him to the highest place
and gave him the name that is above every name,
10that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow,
in heaven and on earth and under the earth,
11and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord,
to the glory of God the Father.

There is so much more proof for the existence of God and I will expand further in the future.

God bless y'all,
Mark Cannon

Bible breakdown

Genesis 32
Jacob Prepares to Meet Esau
1 Jacob also went on his way, and the angels of God met him. 2 When Jacob saw them, he said, "This is the camp of God!" So he named that place Mahanaim. [a]

3 Jacob sent messengers ahead of him to his brother Esau in the land of Seir, the country of Edom. 4 He instructed them: "This is what you are to say to my master Esau: 'Your servant Jacob says, I have been staying with Laban and have remained there till now. 5 I have cattle and donkeys, sheep and goats, menservants and maidservants. Now I am sending this message to my lord, that I may find favor in your eyes.' "

6 When the messengers returned to Jacob, they said, "We went to your brother Esau, and now he is coming to meet you, and four hundred men are with him."

7 In great fear and distress Jacob divided the people who were with him into two groups, [b] and the flocks and herds and camels as well. 8 He thought, "If Esau comes and attacks one group, [c] the group [d] that is left may escape."

9 Then Jacob prayed, "O God of my father Abraham, God of my father Isaac, O LORD, who said to me, 'Go back to your country and your relatives, and I will make you prosper,' 10 I am unworthy of all the kindness and faithfulness you have shown your servant. I had only my staff when I crossed this Jordan, but now I have become two groups. 11 Save me, I pray, from the hand of my brother Esau, for I am afraid he will come and attack me, and also the mothers with their children. 12 But you have said, 'I will surely make you prosper and will make your descendants like the sand of the sea, which cannot be counted.' "

13 He spent the night there, and from what he had with him he selected a gift for his brother Esau: 14 two hundred female goats and twenty male goats, two hundred ewes and twenty rams, 15 thirty female camels with their young, forty cows and ten bulls, and twenty female donkeys and ten male donkeys. 16 He put them in the care of his servants, each herd by itself, and said to his servants, "Go ahead of me, and keep some space between the herds."

17 He instructed the one in the lead: "When my brother Esau meets you and asks, 'To whom do you belong, and where are you going, and who owns all these animals in front of you?' 18 then you are to say, 'They belong to your servant Jacob. They are a gift sent to my lord Esau, and he is coming behind us.' "

19 He also instructed the second, the third and all the others who followed the herds: "You are to say the same thing to Esau when you meet him. 20 And be sure to say, 'Your servant Jacob is coming behind us.' " For he thought, "I will pacify him with these gifts I am sending on ahead; later, when I see him, perhaps he will receive me." 21 So Jacob's gifts went on ahead of him, but he himself spent the night in the camp.

Jacob wanted to reconcile the relationship he had once had with his brother Esau before Esau sold his life blessing from Isaac for food and ran away in anger. Jacob wanted favor in the eyes of Esau but when he found out that Esau brought 400 men with him to meet him, Jacob became scared and prayed for God to save him from an attack from his brother Esau. We become scared sometimes when we are trying to reconcile relationships with someone who we think hates us and wants to attack us. We must go to God for strength in these times just as Jacob did. Jacob sent gifts ahead for Esau so as to make Esau feel more at ease when Jacob was coming to see him.

Jacob Wrestles With God
22 That night Jacob got up and took his two wives, his two maidservants and his eleven sons and crossed the ford of the Jabbok. 23 After he had sent them across the stream, he sent over all his possessions. 24 So Jacob was left alone, and a man wrestled with him till daybreak. 25 When the man saw that he could not overpower him, he touched the socket of Jacob's hip so that his hip was wrenched as he wrestled with the man. 26 Then the man said, "Let me go, for it is daybreak."
But Jacob replied, "I will not let you go unless you bless me."

27 The man asked him, "What is your name?"
"Jacob," he answered.

28 Then the man said, "Your name will no longer be Jacob, but Israel, [e] because you have struggled with God and with men and have overcome."

29 Jacob said, "Please tell me your name."
But he replied, "Why do you ask my name?" Then he blessed him there.

30 So Jacob called the place Peniel, [f] saying, "It is because I saw God face to face, and yet my life was spared."

31 The sun rose above him as he passed Peniel, [g] and he was limping because of his hip. 32 Therefore to this day the Israelites do not eat the tendon attached to the socket of the hip, because the socket of Jacob's hip was touched near the tendon.

This is an amazing event in the history of the Bible, because Jacob wrestled with God!!!!!!!!! God was merciful to Jacob and did not crush him on the spot where they were wrestling, and instead God decided to touch his hip and bless Jacob and to change his name to Israel. Jacob now named Israel was limping because God touched his hip. God is so powerful, and just a touch of God can cause a person to limp. We serve a powerful God and He is merciful to keep us alive for His service now, so we must glorify His holy name for keeping us alive through the midst of the scary situations we face in our lives.

God bless you all, go and serve King Jesus,

Seasons

During our lives on the earth we go through seasons of winter, spring, summer, and fall. As human beings we also go through emotional seasons including joy, anger, sorrow, pain, love, worship, happiness, learning, growth, encouragement, and endurance. We can be joyful at the fact that we have a hope in Jesus Christ our Saving King and we also know that joy comes in the morning if we are in Christ because He renews our strength and is the wellspring of joy and He gladly gives His joy to us because after all the joy of the Lord is our strength. We feel angry over people who have destroyed a relationship or friendship we had thought we built with that person, and we are angered causing us to have clouded judgment in other areas of our lives for example relationships with other people Christians and non-Christians alike. We become sorrowful because of deaths of friends and family and loss of houses and money. We feel pain from the daily grind of life, being rejected by non-Christians whom we do our best to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ with. When we are a member of the Kingdom of God we can know that triune God will always love us no matter our skin tone, no matter our income, no matter our athleticism, no matter our race, no matter our age, no matter our gender. We are to worship Christ Jesus with a humble and joyful heart and we worship God because He is. We can be happy because of family we have, friends we have, cars we have, and the house we have. We are always learning about Scriptures, life, and love. We grow in our knowledge and relationship with Jesus Christ daily. We encourage fellow believers who are struggling and we encourage those who are down and in need of help or of time spent with them. We must endure to the end of this life and fight the fight of good faith.

Seasons happen, God bless you as you live through them,

Be Careful!!

*1 Timothy 6:3-16* – 3 If anyone teaches a different doctrine, and doesn’t consent to sound words, the words of our Lord Jesus Christ, and to the doctrine which is according to godliness, 4 he is conceited, knowing nothing, but obsessed with arguments, disputes, and word battles, from which come envy, strife, insulting, evil suspicions, 5 constant friction of people of corrupt minds and destitute of the truth, who suppose that godliness is a means of gain. Withdraw yourself from such. 6 But godliness with contentment is great gain. 7 For we brought nothing into the world, and we certainly can’t carry anything out. 8 But having food and clothing, we will be content with that. 9 But those who are determined to be rich fall into a temptation and a snare and many foolish and harmful lusts, such as drown men in ruin and destruction. 10 For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some have been led astray from the faith in their greed, and have pierced themselves through with many sorrows. 11 But you, man of God, flee these things, and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, and gentleness. 12 Fight the good fight of faith. Lay hold of the eternal life to which you were called, and you confessed the good confession in the sight of many witnesses. 13 I command you before God, who gives life to all things, and before Christ Jesus, who before Pontius Pilate testified the good confession, 14 that you keep the commandment without spot, blameless, until the appearing of our Lord Jesus Christ; 15 which in its own times he will show, who is the blessed and only Ruler, the King of kings, and Lord of lords; 16 who alone has immortality, dwelling in unapproachable light; whom no man has seen, nor can see: to whom be honor and eternal power. Amen.

This Scripture is very clear, people have been lead astray from Jesus Christ because of their love for money which has caused them many sorrows. For example today, people can love their money it affects the time they spend with their family and friends and they become sad because they realize later that the people in your life are much better than the stuff in your life that you acquire in life which are good and are blessings from God, but when they confuse the love for others and most importantly the love for God as less important than the love of money then they are lead astray by money, fame, and fortune.

Verse 11 says: But you, man of God, flee these things, and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, and gentleness. So we must love the attributes of God much more than the things God blessed us with such as money.

Verse 12 says: Fight the good fight of faith. Lay hold of the eternal life to which you were called, and you confessed the good confession in the sight of many witnesses. We must continue to live for Jesus Christ daily, the faith in Christ is a daily process not just a Sunday or Wednesday event. If you do struggle, you can go back to the witnesses who are brothers and sisters in Jesus Christ and you can ask them to encourage you and pray for you so that you can follow Christ and not money, you can only serve God or money, not both.

Verses 13-16 say: 13 I command you before God, who gives life to all things, and before Christ Jesus, who before Pontius Pilate testified the good confession, 14 that you keep the commandment without spot, blameless, until the appearing of our Lord Jesus Christ; 15 which in its own times he will show, who is the blessed and only Ruler, the King of kings, and Lord of lords; 16 who alone has immortality, dwelling in unapproachable light; whom no man has seen, nor can see: to whom be honor and eternal power. Amen.
We are to keep the commandments without spot, blameless until our Lord Jesus Christ returns. Now we do sin, we have a sinful nature, but we can grow in holiness, the more we read our Bibles, pray to the Lord for His wisdom and His light, we must come to Him so He alone can renew our strength, He is perfect, He loves us even when we struggle, even when we are angry, even when we are lost and off the straight and narrow road, only King Jesus Christ can get us back on track in our lives.
So amazing is the light of Jesus Christ that no man has seen it or can see it, and He will receive all honor, and eternal power. Amen.

Praise King Jesus,
Mark Cannon

Fellowship of the Unashamed

This was written by an African pastor shortly before he was martyred.

I am part of the "Fellowship of the Unashamed." I have Holy Spirit power. The die has been cast. I've stepped over the line. The decision has been made. I am a disciple of His. I won't look back, let up, slow down, back away, or be still. My past is redeemed, my present makes sense, and my future is secure. I am finished and done with low living, sight walking, small planning, smooth knees, colorless dreams, tame visions, mundane talking, chintzy giving, and dwarfed goals!

I no longer need preeminence, prosperity, position, promotions, plaudits, or popularity. I don't have to be right, first, tops, recognized, praised, regarded, or rewarded. I now live by presence, lean by faith, love by patience, lift by prayer, and labor by power.

My face is set, my gait is fast, my goal is heaven, my road is narrow, my way is rough, my companions few, my Guide reliable, my mission clear. I cannot be bought , compromised, detoured, lured away, turned back, diluted, or delayed. I will not flinch in the face of sacrifice, hesitate in the presence of adversity, negotiate at the table of the enemy, ponder at the pool of popularity, or meander in the maze of mediocrity.

I won't give up, shut up, let up, or burn up till I've preached up, prayed up, paid up, stored up, and stayed up for the cause of Christ.

I am a disciple of Jesus. I must go till He comes, give till I drop, preach till all know, and work till He stops.

And when He comes to get His own, He'll have no problems recognizing me. My colors will be clear.

My Best Friend

We all have best friends, some of us even have best friends forever. I want to describe my best friend to the best of my earthly ability. When my best friend speaks, stars, the sun, the moon, planets, animals, people and plants are created. My best friend gives sight to the blind, hope to those who need hope, hearing to the deaf, strength to the weak, and voice to the mute. My best friend began teaching the religious leaders at age 12, and He started His ministry to the world at age 30. My best friend died once for all so that the sins we commit against Him are forgiven, past, present and future, once we repent, and turn from them and accept His gift of salvation. While my best friend was on the earth, no one died in His presence and no one stayed dead in His presence. My best friend is the King of all eternity, His glory would kill all of us even the angels yet He loves us so much that He wants a relationship with us. Everyone will bow down before my best friend and say, Holy, Holy, Holy is the Lamb of God, and will shout out the name of my best friend and say, Jesus Christ is Lord. I wish I could describe my best friend to you, but even my attempts cannot scratch the surface of the glorious magnitude of Jesus Christ the Wonderful Counselor, Prince of Peace, Savior of my soul, and King of Kings.

Broken

What is the best time for someone of something to grow? For me the answer was when I had a broken heart, and was broken down crying out to God. Personally I was verbally hurt, mentally doubting God's love in that moment, then I prayed for God to help me in my broken state of mind, and then I started writing fb notes to get my mind off of things, and then I began reading the Bible consistently and He is giving me His truth more than I could ever imagine. I know being broken is not easy, but look in nature and how things that are broken can grow and work well. The rain clouds break up sending forth rain, flowers blossom or the top breaks and you see a beautiful flower, butterflies come out of a broken cocoon. To be broken is to go before God, in a heart crying out for direction in humility as King Josiah when he prayed to live for the Lord when no one else was going to because they misplaced the Book of the Law. Paul was broken down, because his friends abandoned him in prison, all but Luke. King David was broken in half of the book of Psalms when he cries out to God during his problematic situations. The best form of brokenness is the body of Jesus Christ which was whipped, spit at, nailed, speared and broken so that we may come to salvation in His name for eternity in glory in heaven magnifying the worthy, holy name of God. When we are tired our brokenness come to the front of our minds, because we are low in energy or tired of going through the same things in terms of ruined relationships, hurt feelings, anger, and doubt. That is why God is the true vine and we are the branches, he who abides in Jesus will have Jesus abide with them. We can find rest in the arms of Jesus so in times of stress, we must be still and listen for the still small voice. We have a spirit of boldness, confidence, love, peace, kindness, and joy, and not a spirit of anger, and timidity. So if you have been hurt, broken, felt pain from someone intentionally as I have had before, please know that Jesus Christ can bear your burdens for you, please know that He loves you as much as the person who despises you and if they are Christians who despise you then give them to God, pray for them, and do your part to serve them and live for Christ, it will throw them off maybe and if it does not then you will be serving and loving Jesus with all your heart, soul, mind, and strength and loving your neighbor as yourself, which includes the people who hate you, despise you, cause you pain intentionally and do not care that you are existing at the present moment, which is really tough to experience and I pray that if that happens we can show the love of Christ Jesus our King.

I am a broken man, saved by the grace of God through faith in Jesus Christ,

King Josiah

2 Kings 22
The Book of the Law Found
1 Josiah was eight years old when he became king, and he reigned in Jerusalem thirty-one years. His mother's name was Jedidah daughter of Adaiah; she was from Bozkath. 2 He did what was right in the eyes of the LORD and walked in all the ways of his father David, not turning aside to the right or to the left.

3 In the eighteenth year of his reign, King Josiah sent the secretary, Shaphan son of Azaliah, the son of Meshullam, to the temple of the LORD. He said: 4 "Go up to Hilkiah the high priest and have him get ready the money that has been brought into the temple of the LORD, which the doorkeepers have collected from the people. 5 Have them entrust it to the men appointed to supervise the work on the temple. And have these men pay the workers who repair the temple of the LORD - 6 the carpenters, the builders and the masons. Also have them purchase timber and dressed stone to repair the temple. 7 But they need not account for the money entrusted to them, because they are acting faithfully."

8 Hilkiah the high priest said to Shaphan the secretary, "I have found the Book of the Law in the temple of the LORD." He gave it to Shaphan, who read it. 9 Then Shaphan the secretary went to the king and reported to him: "Your officials have paid out the money that was in the temple of the LORD and have entrusted it to the workers and supervisors at the temple." 10 Then Shaphan the secretary informed the king, "Hilkiah the priest has given me a book." And Shaphan read from it in the presence of the king.

11 When the king heard the words of the Book of the Law, he tore his robes. 12 He gave these orders to Hilkiah the priest, Ahikam son of Shaphan, Acbor son of Micaiah, Shaphan the secretary and Asaiah the king's attendant: 13 "Go and inquire of the LORD for me and for the people and for all Judah about what is written in this book that has been found. Great is the LORD's anger that burns against us because our fathers have not obeyed the words of this book; they have not acted in accordance with all that is written there concerning us."

14 Hilkiah the priest, Ahikam, Acbor, Shaphan and Asaiah went to speak to the prophetess Huldah, who was the wife of Shallum son of Tikvah, the son of Harhas, keeper of the wardrobe. She lived in Jerusalem, in the Second District.

15 She said to them, "This is what the LORD, the God of Israel, says: Tell the man who sent you to me, 16 'This is what the LORD says: I am going to bring disaster on this place and its people, according to everything written in the book the king of Judah has read. 17 Because they have forsaken me and burned incense to other gods and provoked me to anger by all the idols their hands have made, [a] my anger will burn against this place and will not be quenched.' 18 Tell the king of Judah, who sent you to inquire of the LORD, 'This is what the LORD, the God of Israel, says concerning the words you heard: 19 Because your heart was responsive and you humbled yourself before the LORD when you heard what I have spoken against this place and its people, that they would become accursed and laid waste, and because you tore your robes and wept in my presence, I have heard you, declares the LORD. 20 Therefore I will gather you to your fathers, and you will be buried in peace. Your eyes will not see all the disaster I am going to bring on this place.' "
So they took her answer back to the king.

There is a lot of info packed into this Scripture!!! First of all Josiah became King of Jerusalem at age 8!!! We are not even thinking about obeying our parents all the time at age 8 let alone lead a nation!! Secondly, Josiah did what was right in the eyes of the Lord and walked in all the ways of his father David, not turning aside to the right or to the left. He was one of the few people at that time to walk rightly in the sight of God. The people of Jerusalem had misplaced the Book of the Law which is the Scriptures!!!!!! My question is how you can misplace or not know where the Bible is? A few reasons that they misplaced the Bible were that they had forsaken God, they burned incense to other gods, and they caused God to become angry because of the idols that they have made. God heard King Josiah because he humbled himself before God, he tore his robes and wept in the presence of the Lord. Now I have a question for the Christians in America and across the globe. Do we humble ourselves before God and weep in the presence of God for our nations? Do we care enough for the places in the world that forget the Book of the Law and forsake God Almighty? I know I do not do this all the time but I pray that God will bring me to that point so that God can hear me in my prayers for the nations of the world. I pray you will humble yourself in the presence of God Almighty as well so that He will hear your prayers for the nations that fall away from the Book of the Law.

Praise King Jesus for you my brothers and sisters, and may you humble yourself in the sight of the Lord,

Gifts and Talents are given to us by God

Gifts and Talents are given to us by God
Who gives us gifts and talents? Do we acquire them or have we had them been given to us from God?

1 Corinthians 12:1-11
Spiritual Gifts
1Now(A) concerning[a] spiritual gifts,[b] brothers,[c] I do not want you to be uninformed. 2You know that(B) when you were pagans(C) you were led astray to(D) mute idols, however you were led. 3Therefore I want you to understand that(E) no one speaking in the Spirit of God ever says "Jesus is(F) accursed!" and(G) no one can say "Jesus is Lord" except in the Holy Spirit.

4Now(H) there are varieties of gifts, but(I) the same Spirit; 5and(J) there are varieties of service, but(K) the same Lord; 6and there are varieties of activities, but it is(L) the same God who empowers them all in everyone. 7(M) To each is given the manifestation of the Spirit for the common good. 8For to one is given through the Spirit the utterance of(N) wisdom, and to another the utterance of(O) knowledge according to the same Spirit, 9to another(P) faith by the same Spirit, to another(Q) gifts of healing by the one Spirit, 10to another(R) the working of miracles, to another(S) prophecy, to another(T) the ability to distinguish between spirits, to another(U) various kinds of tongues, to another(V) the interpretation of tongues. 11All these are empowered by one and the same Spirit,(W) who apportions to each one individually(X) as he wills.

So these Scriptures show us that we are given spiritual gifts by the will of the Holy Spirit. People are given wisdom in their decision making, the ability to know Scripture, the ability to distinguish between spirits, the ability to interpret tongues, and the ability to speak in different tongues. Whatever the Holy Spirit has given to you as a spiritual gift, please pray for the ability to glorify Jesus Christ with it and to impact the world for Christ through them.

God gave us specific talents as well. Some are given musical abilities, some are given athletic abilities, some are given writing abilities, some are given the ability to encourage, some are given the ability serve cheerfully. So whatever your talent is please glorify Jesus Christ by going 110% in all you do for Him. God will reveal you the specific time for the gift, and the specific person in whom your gift can impact.

Blessings Kingdom Family,
Mark Cannon
