The Bible is filled with verses or passages about the importance of reading the Bible and I will put a few down in this note and I pray this will help you in your reading of Scripture.
7"Only be strong and very courageous; (B)be careful to do according to all the law which Moses My servant commanded you; do not turn from it to the right or to the left, so that you may have success wherever you go.
8"(C)This book of the law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do according to all that is written in it; (D)for then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have success.
9"Have I not commanded you? (E)Be strong and courageous! (F)Do not tremble or be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go."
Joshua 1:7-9
For the word of God is living and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart. (Hebrews 4:12)
But as for you, continue in what you have learned and have become convinced of, because you know those from whom you learned it, and how from infancy you have known the holy Scriptures, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus. All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work. (2 Timothy 2:14-17)
Above all, you must understand that no prophecy of Scripture came about by the prophet's own interpretation. For prophecy never had its origin in the will of man, but men spoke from God as they were carried along by the Holy Spirit. (2 Peter 1:20-21)
And the words of the LORD are flawless, like silver refined in a furnace of clay, purified seven times.
Psalm 12:6
Direct me in the path of your commands, for there I find delight.
Psalm 119:35
I run in the path of your commands, for you have set my heart free.
Psalm 119:32
I will walk about in freedom, for I have sought out your precepts.
I will speak of your statutes before kings and will not be put to shame,
for I delight in your commands because I love them.
Psalm 119:45-47
The law of the LORD is perfect, reviving the soul. The statutes of the LORD are trustworthy, making wise the simple. The precepts of the LORD are right, giving joy to the heart. The commands of the LORD are radiant, giving light to the eyes.
Psalm 19:7-8
For everything that was written in the past was written to teach us, so that through endurance and the encouragement of the Scriptures we might have hope.
ROM 15:4
I pray this helps you as you grow in Scripture reading and love for the Lord God Almighty,

Crucify Sinful Nature, Fruit of the Spirit
Galatians 5
Freedom in Christ
1It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery.
2Mark my words! I, Paul, tell you that if you let yourselves be circumcised, Christ will be of no value to you at all. 3Again I declare to every man who lets himself be circumcised that he is obligated to obey the whole law. 4You who are trying to be justified by law have been alienated from Christ; you have fallen away from grace. 5But by faith we eagerly await through the Spirit the righteousness for which we hope. 6For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision has any value. The only thing that counts is faith expressing itself through love.
7You were running a good race. Who cut in on you and kept you from obeying the truth? 8That kind of persuasion does not come from the one who calls you. 9"A little yeast works through the whole batch of dough." 10I am confident in the Lord that you will take no other view. The one who is throwing you into confusion will pay the penalty, whoever he may be. 11Brothers, if I am still preaching circumcision, why am I still being persecuted? In that case the offense of the cross has been abolished. 12As for those agitators, I wish they would go the whole way and emasculate themselves!
13You, my brothers, were called to be free. But do not use your freedom to indulge the sinful nature[a]; rather, serve one another in love. 14The entire law is summed up in a single command: "Love your neighbor as yourself."[b] 15If you keep on biting and devouring each other, watch out or you will be destroyed by each other.
Life by the Spirit
16So I say, live by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the sinful nature. 17For the sinful nature desires what is contrary to the Spirit, and the Spirit what is contrary to the sinful nature. They are in conflict with each other, so that you do not do what you want. 18But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under law.
19The acts of the sinful nature are obvious: sexual immorality, impurity and debauchery; 20idolatry and witchcraft; hatred, discord, jealousy, fits of rage, selfish ambition, dissensions, factions 21and envy; drunkenness, orgies, and the like. I warn you, as I did before, that those who live like this will not inherit the kingdom of God.
22But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law. 24Those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the sinful nature with its passions and desires. 25Since we live by the Spirit, let us keep in step with the Spirit. 26Let us not become conceited, provoking and envying each other
Galatians 5 is power-packed, and very true as we are committed to serving the Lord Jesus.
There are fruits of the flesh, and fruit of the Spirit, we are called as Christ-followers to obey and live by the fruit of the Spirit. I will separate them according to Scripture.
Fruit of the flesh:
19The acts of the sinful nature are obvious: sexual immorality, impurity and debauchery; 20idolatry and witchcraft; hatred, discord, jealousy, fits of rage, selfish ambition, dissensions, factions 21and envy; drunkenness, orgies, and the like. I warn you, as I did before, that those who live like this will not inherit the kingdom of God.
If we continue in our sin as a habitual thing, and are not growing in the Lord daily and do not accept the salvation offered by Jesus Christ then we will not inherit the Kingdom of God.
We are called to crucify the sinful nature, and obey the Jesus Christ and His teachings, and walk according to His will, not ours.
Fruit of the Spirit:
22But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law. 24Those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the sinful nature with its passions and desires. 25Since we live by the Spirit, let us keep in step with the Spirit. 26Let us not become conceited, provoking and envying each other
So we must live according to the guidance of the Holy Spirit who gives us His fruit. We must not be conceited, we must not provoke each other and we must not envy each other, we must love others with joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control, for it is through the love of Christ that the rest of the fruit are available for us to live and obey.
Walk according to the Holy Spirit and bear some fruit,

August 16th I will be 18 years old!!
On August 16th I will turn 18 years old, I have been blessed by my Lord, Best Friend, and Saving King Jesus Christ with life, a loving family, great friends, a roof over my head, food to eat, clothes to wear, and the Bible to read and grow daily in my relationship with God. I have taken hgh aka human growth hormone since I was less than a year old. I have taken a pill to help me live since I was a less than 2 years old. I have had my blood tested over 40 times in my life. Blood testing is when the doctors withdraw blood from your veins in your arm to test how your medicine is working in your body, and they see if they need to add or take away a certain amount of medicine so you can live a healthy and productive life. I have become 5 feet 9 and 1/2 inches tall because of the hgh and I am very thankful God has allowed me to be His desired height. I have had many ups and downs in my life, including meeting Charlie Ward who is one of the greatest athletes in the history of sports because he was the Heisman Trophy winner in college football at Florida State and he was a point guard for The New York Knicks in the NBA Finals. I have been to many different sports games including Dogers, Angels, Lakers, Giants, Athletics, Warriors, and Cal Poly Mustangs spanning from baseball and football to basketball games. I have been to Hawaii 4 or 5 times. I have been to New York, the 4 corners, Georgia, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Washington, Florida, Louisiana and a few other states as well as Canada and Mexico. I have been a Christian since age 4 or 5 and I have grown closer to the Lord ever since, I praise Him for blessing me so much. I have had disappointments in my life as well, I have put my trust in people only to realize that they did not care anything for me and wish I would stay out of their lives, which does hurt when you respect them and they do not care about you. We all go through problems in life, but I know that God has a special plan on my life, I just need to love Him with all my heart, soul, mind, and strength, trust His will for my life, love my neighbor as myself by thinking of others as more important then myself, serving them to glorify God. I need to shine the light of Jesus Christ to this lost world filled with people against God, as we all were before Christ saved us from our sins and told us to be an example to those around us, even if we are young, old, whether we have different skin tones, worship styles, and differences in attitudes and likes, because we know that God loves us and we must show this love to the world.
I am looking forward to what God has in store for my life, and for the lives of those who impact me and the lives of those who I have impacted because of Christ,

God's Questions to Job
Dear atheists, Muslims, Scientologists, etc, please answer these questions that God gave Job and test your knowledge and prove to me that the God of the Bible does not exist.
Job, Chapter 38
1: Then the LORD answered Job out of the whirlwind, and said,
2: Who is this that darkeneth counsel by words without knowledge?
3: Gird up now thy loins like a man; for I will demand of thee, and answer thou me.
4: Where wast thou when I laid the foundations of the earth? declare, if thou hast understanding.
5: Who hath laid the measures thereof, if thou knowest? or who hath stretched the line upon it?
6: Whereupon are the foundations thereof fastened? or who laid the corner stone thereof;
7: When the morning stars sang together, and all the sons of God shouted for joy?
8: Or who shut up the sea with doors, when it brake forth, as if it had issued out of the womb?
9: When I made the cloud the garment thereof, and thick darkness a swaddlingband for it,
10: And brake up for it my decreed place, and set bars and doors,
11: And said, Hitherto shalt thou come, but no further: and here shall thy proud waves be stayed?
12: Hast thou commanded the morning since thy days; and caused the dayspring to know his place;
13: That it might take hold of the ends of the earth, that the wicked might be shaken out of it?
14: It is turned as clay to the seal; and they stand as a garment.
15: And from the wicked their light is withholden, and the high arm shall be broken.
16: Hast thou entered into the springs of the sea? or hast thou walked in the search of the depth?
17: Have the gates of death been opened unto thee? or hast thou seen the doors of the shadow of death?
18: Hast thou perceived the breadth of the earth? declare if thou knowest it all.
19: Where is the way where light dwelleth? and as for darkness, where is the place thereof,
20: That thou shouldest take it to the bound thereof, and that thou shouldest know the paths to the house thereof?
21: Knowest thou it, because thou wast then born? or because the number of thy days is great?
22: Hast thou entered into the treasures of the snow? or hast thou seen the treasures of the hail,
23: Which I have reserved against the time of trouble, against the day of battle and war?
24: By what way is the light parted, which scattereth the east wind upon the earth?
25: Who hath divided a watercourse for the overflowing of waters, or a way for the lightning of thunder;
26: To cause it to rain on the earth, where no man is; on the wilderness, wherein there is no man;
27: To satisfy the desolate and waste ground; and to cause the bud of the tender herb to spring forth?
28: Hath the rain a father? or who hath begotten the drops of dew?
29: Out of whose womb came the ice? and the hoary frost of heaven, who hath gendered it?
30: The waters are hid as with a stone, and the face of the deep is frozen.
31: Canst thou bind the sweet influences of Pleiades, or loose the bands of Orion?
32: Canst thou bring forth Mazzaroth in his season? or canst thou guide Arcturus with his sons?
33: Knowest thou the ordinances of heaven? canst thou set the dominion thereof in the earth?
34: Canst thou lift up thy voice to the clouds, that abundance of waters may cover thee?
35: Canst thou send lightnings, that they may go, and say unto thee, Here we are?
36: Who hath put wisdom in the inward parts? or who hath given understanding to the heart?
37: Who can number the clouds in wisdom? or who can stay the bottles of heaven,
38: When the dust groweth into hardness, and the clods cleave fast together?
39: Wilt thou hunt the prey for the lion? or fill the appetite of the young lions,
40: When they couch in their dens, and abide in the covert to lie in wait?
41: Who provideth for the raven his food? when his young ones cry unto God, they wander for lack of meat.
God bless you brothers and sisters in Christ Jesus,

3: Gird up now thy loins like a man; for I will demand of thee, and answer thou me.
4: Where wast thou when I laid the foundations of the earth? declare, if thou hast understanding.
5: Who hath laid the measures thereof, if thou knowest? or who hath stretched the line upon it?
6: Whereupon are the foundations thereof fastened? or who laid the corner stone thereof;
12: Hast thou commanded the morning since thy days; and caused the dayspring to know his place;
25: Who hath divided a watercourse for the overflowing of waters, or a way for the lightning of thunder;
26: To cause it to rain on the earth, where no man is; on the wilderness, wherein there is no man;
27: To satisfy the desolate and waste ground; and to cause the bud of the tender herb to spring forth?

Proofs for existence of God
Many people question the existence of God the Father, Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit. Now Genesis 1 says that in the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. People can argue this all day long but I will give some practical examples of what has been created by a creator. People do not dispute the fact that a building has a builder. People do not dispute the fact that a watch has a watch-maker. People do not dispute the fact that an automobile has an auto-maker. People do not dispute the fact that clothes have a maker. Now if people do not dispute that all these things have a maker, I wonder why they dispute the fact of God who ultimately is the Creator of us all. I believe the reason that people doubt the existence of God is that they cannot see Him physically. My question for those questions is what about gravity and wind. We cannot see gravity and wind, but we know the effects of both gravity and and wind. If we throw something like a ball we know the effects of wind. If we jump off a ledge we know the effect of gravity. We cannot doubt these facts so I ask again how can people doubt God, because we as Christians know that God is, was, and will always be, He is timeless, He will answer our prayers, so true we may not be able to see Him physically, but we do know that He exists because the Bible which is the inerrant Word of God, which does not contradict itself, and as 2 Timothy 3:16 says: All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness.
So from this Scripture, we learn that we can learn about the existence of God, who God is, how He lived, and how we can live for Him. Now if that is not enough the Scriptures also teach in the book of Philippians 2: 9-11
9Therefore God exalted him to the highest place
and gave him the name that is above every name,
10that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow,
in heaven and on earth and under the earth,
11and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord,
to the glory of God the Father.
There is so much more proof for the existence of God and I will expand further in the future.

Bible breakdown
Genesis 32
Jacob Prepares to Meet Esau
1 Jacob also went on his way, and the angels of God met him. 2 When Jacob saw them, he said, "This is the camp of God!" So he named that place Mahanaim. [a]
3 Jacob sent messengers ahead of him to his brother Esau in the land of Seir, the country of Edom. 4 He instructed them: "This is what you are to say to my master Esau: 'Your servant Jacob says, I have been staying with Laban and have remained there till now. 5 I have cattle and donkeys, sheep and goats, menservants and maidservants. Now I am sending this message to my lord, that I may find favor in your eyes.' "
6 When the messengers returned to Jacob, they said, "We went to your brother Esau, and now he is coming to meet you, and four hundred men are with him."
7 In great fear and distress Jacob divided the people who were with him into two groups, [b] and the flocks and herds and camels as well. 8 He thought, "If Esau comes and attacks one group, [c] the group [d] that is left may escape."
9 Then Jacob prayed, "O God of my father Abraham, God of my father Isaac, O LORD, who said to me, 'Go back to your country and your relatives, and I will make you prosper,' 10 I am unworthy of all the kindness and faithfulness you have shown your servant. I had only my staff when I crossed this Jordan, but now I have become two groups. 11 Save me, I pray, from the hand of my brother Esau, for I am afraid he will come and attack me, and also the mothers with their children. 12 But you have said, 'I will surely make you prosper and will make your descendants like the sand of the sea, which cannot be counted.' "
13 He spent the night there, and from what he had with him he selected a gift for his brother Esau: 14 two hundred female goats and twenty male goats, two hundred ewes and twenty rams, 15 thirty female camels with their young, forty cows and ten bulls, and twenty female donkeys and ten male donkeys. 16 He put them in the care of his servants, each herd by itself, and said to his servants, "Go ahead of me, and keep some space between the herds."
17 He instructed the one in the lead: "When my brother Esau meets you and asks, 'To whom do you belong, and where are you going, and who owns all these animals in front of you?' 18 then you are to say, 'They belong to your servant Jacob. They are a gift sent to my lord Esau, and he is coming behind us.' "
19 He also instructed the second, the third and all the others who followed the herds: "You are to say the same thing to Esau when you meet him. 20 And be sure to say, 'Your servant Jacob is coming behind us.' " For he thought, "I will pacify him with these gifts I am sending on ahead; later, when I see him, perhaps he will receive me." 21 So Jacob's gifts went on ahead of him, but he himself spent the night in the camp.
Jacob wanted to reconcile the relationship he had once had with his brother Esau before Esau sold his life blessing from Isaac for food and ran away in anger. Jacob wanted favor in the eyes of Esau but when he found out that Esau brought 400 men with him to meet him, Jacob became scared and prayed for God to save him from an attack from his brother Esau. We become scared sometimes when we are trying to reconcile relationships with someone who we think hates us and wants to attack us. We must go to God for strength in these times just as Jacob did. Jacob sent gifts ahead for Esau so as to make Esau feel more at ease when Jacob was coming to see him.
Jacob Wrestles With God
22 That night Jacob got up and took his two wives, his two maidservants and his eleven sons and crossed the ford of the Jabbok. 23 After he had sent them across the stream, he sent over all his possessions. 24 So Jacob was left alone, and a man wrestled with him till daybreak. 25 When the man saw that he could not overpower him, he touched the socket of Jacob's hip so that his hip was wrenched as he wrestled with the man. 26 Then the man said, "Let me go, for it is daybreak."
But Jacob replied, "I will not let you go unless you bless me."
27 The man asked him, "What is your name?"
"Jacob," he answered.
28 Then the man said, "Your name will no longer be Jacob, but Israel, [e] because you have struggled with God and with men and have overcome."
29 Jacob said, "Please tell me your name."
But he replied, "Why do you ask my name?" Then he blessed him there.
30 So Jacob called the place Peniel, [f] saying, "It is because I saw God face to face, and yet my life was spared."
31 The sun rose above him as he passed Peniel, [g] and he was limping because of his hip. 32 Therefore to this day the Israelites do not eat the tendon attached to the socket of the hip, because the socket of Jacob's hip was touched near the tendon.
This is an amazing event in the history of the Bible, because Jacob wrestled with God!!!!!!!!! God was merciful to Jacob and did not crush him on the spot where they were wrestling, and instead God decided to touch his hip and bless Jacob and to change his name to Israel. Jacob now named Israel was limping because God touched his hip. God is so powerful, and just a touch of God can cause a person to limp. We serve a powerful God and He is merciful to keep us alive for His service now, so we must glorify His holy name for keeping us alive through the midst of the scary situations we face in our lives.
God bless you all, go and serve King Jesus,
